Tubal ring and some other common causes of endometritis

Tubal ring can be a reason for endometritis, and the reasons are as follows:

As falope-ring technique means placing the ring in the uterus, so if the disinfection is not strict or the surgery is not proper in the course of the operation, it will make the bacteria directly invade the uterus, thus inducing endometritis.

In addition, having sex when the patient is not fully recovered after the surgery may also put pathogens (such as bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and so on) into the uterus, causing inflammation. Therefore, patients are recommended to prohibit sexual life in a short period after the surgery.

In addition to tubal ring, there are some other common causes of endometritis:

1.Gynecological inflammation is an important cause. Diseases such as tubal ovarian inflammation, cervicitis and so on, if not treated in time, they may induce endometritis.

2.Surgical infections. Relaxed sterilization in uterine surgeries and placenta residues after cesarean section are also common reasons of endometritis.

3.Physiological reasons. After menopause, due to the decline in estrogen levels, the endometrial and vaginal mucosa will be thinner, and thus vulnerable to bacterial invasion. Consequently, inflammation will occur.

4.No obvious incentive. The pathogens are mainly from the imbalance of vaginal flora such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

Currently, endometritis is usually treated with antibiotics plus curettage. However, curettage runs risks itself. It is likely to cause re-infection and increase the patients’ suffering. And antibiotics will easily produce drug resistance after long-term use. Therefore, the traditional Chinese medicine treatment is an ideal choice. Patients can directly take fuyan pill to eradicate the disease.
