Are drinks harmful for prostatitis and hemorrhoids patients?

Hemorrhoids, also named as piles, are blood vessels located in the smooth muscles of the walls of the rectum and anus. While prostatitis is inflammation of the prostate gland. However, both of these two diseases are common and highly incidence in male friends.

On the one hand, many bad habits could cause the occurrence of prostatitis and hemorrhoids. According to doctors, drinking alcohol has detrimental effects on the treatment of prostatitis and hemorrhoids. However, what methods are adopted to treat these diseases in clinical and daily life?

The treatment for prostatitis depends on the underlying cause and type of prostatitis. Antibiotics are prescribed if the cause is a bacterial infection. While a herbal pill, named as Diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill, was refined from many Chinese herbs and has good curative effect on the disease. Many clinical practices shown that the pill has better treatment on the prostatitis than antibiotics.

However, regardless of the size or swelling of a hemorrhoid, no treatment is required if symptoms do not exist. Prevention is perhaps the most effective treatment. Diet and adequate hydration are very important to maintain normal bowel movements. High fiber diet, adequate hydration, stool softeners, even and anti-diarrheal medications may be required for patients with hemorrhoids. These preventive measures decrease the amount of straining that is required to have a bowel movement, thus decreasing the pressure within the blood vessels to prevent swelling. In addition, avoid by all means drinking is very important for the treatment and recovery of prostatitis and hemorrhoids.
